Position Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating qualified business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting, personalized outreach, and relationship building. The role involves conducting market research, engaging prospective clients via calls and email, qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate follow-up activities while continuously refining sales strategies. Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Sydney Time (Part-Time)
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Conduct daily outbound prospecting through cold calls, warm calls, and email campaigns.
Identify and qualify potential clients across various industries.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent outreach activities.
Client Outreach & Relationship Management
Develop and send personalized outreach emails tailored to each prospect's industry and business needs.
Conduct follow-up calls and emails to nurture leads and maintain engagement.
Build rapport with business owners and key decision-makers to generate sales opportunities.
Appointment Setting
Qualify prospects based on business requirements and interest.
Schedule quality appointments for the sales team or client.
Manage callbacks and maintain timely follow-up with hot and warm leads.
Market & Business Research
Research prospective businesses before initiating contact to understand their industry, services, and potential needs.
Analyze client profiles to improve outreach relevance and personalization.
Gather market insights to strengthen prospecting strategies.
Sales Strategy & Process Improvement
Continuously refine call scripts, email templates, and objection-handling techniques.
Adapt outreach strategies based on prospect responses and industry trends.
Develop personalized engagement approaches to improve conversion rates.
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of calls, emails, follow-ups, and lead status.
Track hot, warm, and cold leads and ensure timely follow-up actions.
Prepare daily activity and performance reports, highlighting outcomes, challenges, and next steps.
Collaboration
Participate in team meetings to discuss challenges, share best practices, and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with project managers and internal stakeholders to optimize outreach strategies and campaign performance.
