Digital Marketing & Business Development Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Digital Marketing & Business Development Specialist to support business growth through strategic marketing initiatives and lead generation activities. This role is responsible for increasing brand awareness, generating qualified leads, strengthening referral networks, and supporting business development initiatives through digital marketing, content creation, and relationship-building efforts. The successful candidate will manage content creation, social media marketing, website updates, SEO initiatives, CRM administration, lead nurturing, and business development campaigns. This position plays a key role in driving customer engagement, expanding market reach, and supporting overall business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Marketing

  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across digital channels.

  • Develop educational content, blogs, graphics, and promotional materials.

  • Repurpose client success stories, testimonials, and case studies.

  • Research industry trends and relevant market topics.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow social media presence across key platforms.

  • Monitor engagement, comments, and direct messages.

  • Respond to inquiries or escalate them appropriately.

  • Analyze and report on social media performance metrics.

Website & SEO

  • Update website content and landing pages as required.

  • Optimize website content for search engine visibility.

  • Conduct keyword research and SEO audits.

  • Monitor website performance, traffic, and user experience.

Lead Generation & CRM Management

  • Monitor and manage incoming leads and inquiries.

  • Maintain CRM records and lead pipelines.

  • Build and optimize automated marketing workflows.

  • Support lead nurturing and conversion initiatives.

Business Development

  • Develop marketing resources for referral partners and strategic partners.

  • Research potential partnerships and networking opportunities.

  • Support outreach campaigns and business growth strategies.

  • Assist in expanding business relationships and referral networks.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain content calendars and marketing schedules.

  • Organize marketing assets and business development materials.

  • Track marketing KPIs and campaign performance.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.

Must Have Skills

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, business development, lead generation, or a related role.

  • Experience managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

  • Hands-on experience creating marketing content, graphics, and promotional materials.

  • Experience using CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot.

  • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and website content optimization.

  • Experience tracking campaign performance and marketing analytics.

  • Strong written English communication and copywriting skills.

  • Experience developing lead generation and nurturing campaigns.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working within healthcare, professional services, wellness, education, or service-based industries.

  • Familiarity with HubSpot CMS and WordPress website management.

  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for landing page creation and website updates.

  • Experience creating short-form video content using CapCut.

  • Understanding of referral marketing and partnership development.

  • Knowledge of email marketing automation and workflow creation.

  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SE Ranking, Ubersuggest, and Google Keyword Planner.

  • Graphic design proficiency using Canva.

  • Knowledge of content marketing and thought leadership strategies.
